Event Details
Each year, we select a pair of enthusiastic young people from the community to represent Doddington Carnival and its values.
The Carnival Prince and Princess serve as role models for other children in the community, promoting a sense of pride and unity and inspiring others to get involved in the festivities.
They lead the procession and play a key role in the opening ceremonies, helping to kick-start the celebrations in style.
With their dazzling smiles, infectious energy, and unwavering commitment to the carnival, our Prince and Princess are sure to capture the hearts and imaginations of everyone who attends.
So join us in celebrating the next generation of carnival royalty, and let's make this year's festivities the best yet!
Prince Toby

My name is Toby I'm 8 years old; I attend year 4 at Lionel Walden primary school.
My favourite subject in school is PE "It's the best". I live at home with my mum dad and older brother Tyler.
I play football for March Town United Youth on a Saturday and I love it. I'm so excited to be carnival prince this year as I love the carnival especially as it's always on my birthday weekend so I get to see all my friends and have fun.
When I'm not playing football, I like going to the park on my scooter with my best friend Blake or playing on Roblox.
Princess Alessia

My name is Alessia Wescombe and I’m grateful to have been picked to be this years Carnival Princess, with so many other people who joined the draw.
I’m 11 years old and in Year 6 at Lionel Walden School. Favourite subjects at school are art and maths.
I love roller skating and my favourite TV show is Friends.
I love TikTok and being with family and friends.
